Can you forgive James Alonzo Hines a pensioner for making golf a combat sport?
James Alonzo Hines a pensioner for making golf a combat sport
Like many golfers, James Alonzo Hines attempted to make a hole-in-one. The problem is the hole he was trying to make was on another golfer's head.
Hines, 61, is accused of attacking a group of golfers attending a stag do with his cart and then hitting one over the head with his club after they
ruined his round of golf by playing too slowly.
The incident began when Hines began hitting balls at the party from about 200 yards away. One of the partygoers then hit a ball back at Hines,
who according to police, hopped in his cart and headed for the group. Hampe (a partygoer) said he had just got out of his cart when Hines ran over
his leg pinning him against another cart. Hines then proceeded to lash out with his golf club, giving the
partygoers a different kind of headache than they were expecting.
Hines was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was was jailed and later released,
but no other people were arrested.
Vote Saint if you think that a golf course is not the right place to hold a stagg party. These guys got what they deserved.
Vote Sinner you think that Hines overreacted and should have just politely asked to overtake.
